Is it completely inappropriate....

  • I usually have to take Austin with me... It is never a big deal, they have a nurse come in to hold/play with him with I am being examined..

  • I just got back from an U/S with Caroline.  You do what you gotta do.

I recommend putting her in a stroller, bring lots of snacks and water and lots of books and toys.  I had a new book for her today to look at during the actual U/S.

    Good luck!

  • I had to take Gavin with me a few weeks ago.  I left him in his stroller.  He wasn't happy, but you do what you gotta do I guess.

This.  I had to take Rowen with me to every single appt when I was pregnant with Phoebe.  I wasn't sure how I felt about it since he was 4 but honestly he didn't even pay any attention to what they were doing.  He brought a backpack full of toys and coloring books and entertained himself the entire time.  When they had to do the internals the nurse would color with him.  It really wasn't a big deal at all.
