On one hand, I would like to extend the unwrapping, because the kids tear through it so fast. But I don't know if unwrapping small stuff would frustrate them too much.
I am clearly overthinking this.

Haha, I overthink it too. We don't plan on wrapping any of the big presents from Santa, because a few of them require assembly and batteries, so we'd prefer not to deal with packaging that morning. And it's nice to come down to just this big toy with a big bow on it. So I thought I'd wrap the smaller stuff, like books, pajamas and nicer stocking stuffers. I probably won't wrap the super small stuff like pencils and airplanes.
If I'm feeling ambitious yes I do lol but most of the time I'm not that ambitious!

I'M GRAPE JELLY- ALWAYS AROUND & ALWAYS THE SAME
If I leave here tomorrow, would you still remember me. For I must be traveling on now. Because there are too many places I've got to see. -Allen Collins & Ronnie VanZant
My favorite verse!
I was thinking about the exact same thing just last night as I started my wrapping. I decided that i'm going to wrap the bigger things - small coloring books, craft paper, crayons/markers, but I probably won't wrap the really small stuff like stickers, plastic junk jewelry, etc.
No. I don't wrap anything in the stockings. Other gifts from Santa usually get wrapped. This year each girl has a pretty big gift, so I may or may not buy one of those Christmas bags to try to cover it. We'll see.

Re: Do you wrap stocking stuffers?
Anything that's present-like I do. So, candy, no. But things like book, movie, little toys, jewelry, hair clips, etc. I would.
I remember liking having all that stuff to open as a kid.
