Paperwork

I am here swimming in paperwork!!! DH and I just officially "signed" with our agency on Wednesday. Today we were fortunate enough to have a snow day, so I have gotten nearly all of the paperwork done.

I know, this is unheard of. I am an overachiever. I also made our appointments for our physicals and for background check for next Monday so those will be done soon too! I just need to ask my three people to write referral letters.

We have our office interview next Wednesday and a Home Study meeting three weeks later. At the home study meeting they will schedule our home visit.Technically all of our paperwork stuff is due at the home study meeting so I only have four weeks to complete it all anyway!

If you cannot tell, I am very excited!!!!!!!!!! It is finally really happening!

Congrats!!! I was the same way and was finished with the paperwork and waiting on our agency most of the time! Our CW said she had never seen anyone get everything done so quickly! LOL Good Luck with your journey! I hope it's a very easy one with a short wait!!!

Smith- I've already commented on your blog but I'm so happy that you finally got to start with the agency. I had all of my paperwork completed the first weekend also. Good luck with everything!

i totally remember that feeling; i got all of our paperwork done in a couple of days too (at least the preliminary stuff) and it was so exciting...i'm so psyched for you!

Congrats! It took 6 weeks for "us" (read: DH) to finish our autobiographies.

We finished our paperwork and background checks in "record time" (according to our agency)... but, here we are, almost 6 months after signing, and we still aren't on the books.  I hope your process goes faster!

Wow! That's great that you've been able to accomplish soo much in such a short amout of time!! We took awhile since we had to wait for copies of our birth certificates to come in (hubbers was born out of state and I was born out of country) and our autobiographies took FOREVER.
