Im 5w6d and i went to the dr today. he did an internal Sono and we saw two sacs but the Dr only saw one yoke. Has anyone else experienced that before? What was the outcome?
my first US was around then and only had 2 sacs - nothing else... a few days later there were fetal polies, little babies with heartbeats, etc.... every day that early means SOOO much - so just keep sending love to your babies/belly... and pray a lot... only time will tell. Best of luck and congrats on your pregnancy!!
I did. At 5w1d we saw two sacs, but only one had a yolk. I went back for a follow-up at 7w2d, and we had two heartbeats. I'm almost 23 weeks now. You're still really early, and there's still time for both to develop.
Thank you EVERYONE for the encouragement. I couldn't read the Dr when he was talking to us about it and it kind of all happened so quickly so I needed a little more clarification:) YOu guys are the best!!!!

This was my experience - at 4w5d there were just two sacs, and two weeks later we had two little babies on their way! It's amazing how much changes from ultrasound to ultrasound.
Did your doctor schedule you again for two weeks or so? Good luck and keep us posted!

Yep- I had my first sono at 4w6d and saw 1 sac. Second sono at 5w6d and saw 2 sacs but one yolk.
The two "outcomes" are upstairs in their cribs- sick and congested but sleeping.
