Thanks for your insight.  What you said is really my exact concern, I do not want to push DS too much too fast b/c he is not a kid that embraces groups and while he loves school it has taken over a year to get here and for him to feel comfortable, but at the same time I do not want 95% of the other kids to be in school full-time and therefore the first grade teachers to have higher expectations and frustrate DS.  And DS will be 5y 9m when he starts Kindergarten so he is not young but unless something big changes before then he is a tiny bit socially and emotionally immature, totally within normal range.  I likely will only send him 1/2 day and if he wants to take music or dance (I would be shocked if he wanted sports b/c he has zero interest) then I would add that.  He is doing really well and has another year of school still.

But I mostly wanted to say how much I love the pic of your DD, totally adorable.
