I'm getting ready to put the boys in their cribs and I have a video monitor my SIL lent to me. I didn't think I would want/need one, but I'm officially hooked. The boys make a lot of weird noises in their sleep and it's much easier to look at them in the monitor rather than go into their room several times a night.
Now I'm looking for a monitor with two cameras so I can have one for each crib.
Thanks!
Re: Video Monitor Recommendations
I don't mean to scare anyone, but ...
I also wanted a video monitor for the reasons you are suggesting, but when my Aunt saw it on my registry, she flipped and called me right away.
Apparently, from an investigation show a journalist took a video monitor through a neighborhood and was able to change the frequencies and see different babies in the neigborhood on his reciever. It def gave me something to think about. I am no longer wanting one, I would rather get up many times a night than think about the possibilities.
However, MH is still considering the idea, but has mostly conceded to the idea that we will just get an audio monitor.
Sorry to scare anyone, just tought I would share.
We have this one. You just need to buy the second camera but the handheld monitor has a switch on the side to go back and forth between the two cameras. So easy to use I'm hooked!
