I'm fighting tears (happy)

A good friend of mine is being induced this morning; she's the first of several friends giving birth since I had C almost 4mos ago. I just keep thinking about that magical moment when I got to hold DS to my chest for the first time, and how she's going to experience that today (and I'll get to hold a tiny newborn again soon too, he he he). It really is miraculous, and I totally get that now...

    I totally get that too! My neice is pregnant and Ive been more excited then usual for her! I just cant wait for her to have the experience. Still kinda jealous though since I didnt get that! Had emergency c-section then didnt even see him for 6 hours/ hold for a day. And take home for 4 weeks later. I always kinda feel jealous at the same time as happy.

    Me too. DS was having difficulty breathing right after he was born and was taken to the NICU. I didn't see him for hours afterwards and didn't get to hold him until he was two days old.

    I agree with being more excited for new moms since I've become a mom. Smile
