Such a sweet miracle tonight

A good friend of mine gave birth about a month early tonight to a baby boy named Benjamin.

This is a little over a year after she and her husband lost their firstborn to a variety of health problems after being born severely premature. It was just heartbreaking.

Theirs has been nothing but an uphill battle, hers most of her life with a variety of health problems, and no two people deserve to be parents more. We were all holding our breath when she went into labor earlier today.

It's moments like these that remind you just how beautiful life can be.
