FB question

So, I know to link someone's name in a status, you put an @ in front of their name.  I can not get this to work.  ie, "I'm going to have lunch with @best friend at Panera".  That's how you do it right?

That's how I've gotten it to work before. Maybe it's the browser you're using. Sometimes if I use different browsers things won't work for me (like linking on the Bump!).

Also, I've heard people say it doesn't work from a smart phone (although I haven't tried...).

I'm using IE at work, but I just tried from my cell phone and for some reason I can't even connect!  Grr...

Somebody else was complaining about it on FB -- I think they've changed it again.  Grr!
