38 week appt

Had my 38 week appt yesterday. Im 1cm dialated and 50%effaced. If i dont have the baby by monday they will induce me at 6pm  monday night using cervadil first... I did start having bad cramps last night im hoping this is the start of something big to come... I think i would rather do this naturally than being induced but i do like that idea that if everything goes smoothly i will be home for christmas which is a big worry off my mind...

    Just curious if there is any other reason to induce [besides Christmas ;-)].  Who is your OB and where will you be birthing?

    I'm with you! Unless it was medically necessary,I wouldn't want to be induced either.  Is there a reason they are inducing you so early?

    They are inducing me because of the size of the baby. My last son was 9lbs so they are figuring this one will be bigger..
