Hi ladies,
I need to purchase some cloth wipes and I'm wondering what material and design is best?
Fabric - Cotton terry cloth, flannel, something else?
Design - Single ply, 2 ply?
Would these be good?

Re: Need opinions on cloth wipe construction
Anything that "wipes" can make a good wipe. It just depends on your preference. My wipes are 2 ply with different fabrics on each side. My favorite combos are: organic bamboo velour/cotton flannel; cotton sherpa/cotton flannel; and cotton velour/cotton flannel.
I prefer two different fabrics - one soft side, one rough side. I make mine out of flannel and a soft terry cloth. I'd like to try velour, but the local store only has polyester - ick.
I also prefer turned and stitched instead of serged - they look so much better, but they take longer to make (if you make them yourself).
