Trigger Shot

My doctor ordered a trigger shot for me for next cycle.  I need to go pick it up and bring it in with me and after my ultrasound, if things look good, they will give it to me.

 Do you always go to the office for your shot or do you do it yourself?  I was under the impression that eventually I might have to give myself these shots...I am really relieved!!

My docs office won't do them unless you have at least once follicle that's 20mm+.  Last cycle I went on day 12 and I had an 18mm one, went back 2 days later to make sure it was at least 20 (it was 24mm) and then they gave me the shot right there in the office.  They never gave me the option to do it myself.

I've always had to give it to myself. It was a piece of cake (of course I say that after the fact) Good Luck!!

I have always given myself the trigger shot.  My RE's office has never given an injection to me.

I've always done my own trigger shots and it wasn't bad at all.  That's cool that they are doing your first one though.

My DH gives them to me at home. It's not that bad. For me, mixing it is the worst part.

I had to do mine at 10:30 at night, so I did it myself.

I did mine myself at home.  Mine had to be done at midnight.
