WTF is up with this new thing?

The past week or so, DS1 migrates from sitting to watch a show until he's standing inches from the TV.  It's like he doesn't even know he's doing it -- he looks like a zombie or like a magnet is pulling him there.  We have to constantly tell him to move back and sit down and it seems to surprise him that he's in front of the TV again.

We remind him that he needs to sit and will turn the TV off if he keeps doing it, but what the eff?

Is my kid the only one who wants to be >this.close< to whatever he's watching?

Natalie will do this, especially when Ben's at school and she's totally focused on her show.  She's going to be a TV junkie, I can just tell.

DD does this all the time.  I am constantly telling her not to stand so close to the tv.  But I find she does this when she's seriously into what she's watching.

My DS is 11 months and he does that all the time! I guess there is no stopping them once then get it in their head to do it! So you are not alone
