12/14/10 is over

and will never be here again. Did you ever have a day where you can't seem to get your bearings? Well today was that day. I knew I had to be done with work early to make my SHG so I get stuck in traffic. Which, I caught a break when a cop came up behind me and I started following him- using him as my blocker. I make it work and start my day ok, great, I can do this. Well, my boss calls at 9:45. Amy I need you to do an evaluation at 10, the person who was supposed to do it called out. Okay, I can do that, I'll just miss my kids. Do the eval and start rearranging everything else to make it out early. Make it out early and drive the hour to the appointment. Make it there, strip from the waste down. Then the nurse comes in and says the doctor is a little behind and will be in in 5 minutes. Okay fine. Then the doctor comes in and does the SHG and trial placements. Well, for some reason the SHG hurt, like really bad (like I tried to move away from it). So this opened the flood gates. The nurse tried to reassure me but couldn't spend a lot of time with me as she had another patient. But at that point there wasn't anything she could do, once the flood gates are open, it's all down hill. 

So after I'm about half way home she calls me back to talk. It was really sweet of her and she gave me the names of a couple of people to talk and a website to look at. I came home and cried some more, took a hot bath, and laid down. Then about an hour later the nurse calls again to make sure I'm doing and better, and in all honesty. I am.

I started thinking about it and I really think it's the birth control pills that are messing with my head! Well, that and I really don't like change and my schedule was all sorts of crazy today! Thanks for listening. It's been a long time since I've had a break down like this one. Oh and I HATE BCP's!! I still have 5 weeks of them! Damn them! Okay, well, I'm going to go pour myself something strong to drink.

So sorry your shg hurt. Bcp's make me crazy, I hate when they have me on them for cycles at the RE.

sounds like you and i had similar days.  i haven't felt so sad and stuck in a place of gloom since Wyatt. 

hopefully we both have better days tomorrow.
