Anyone have any advice or recommendations for good cloth pull ups? I prefer one with SOME PUL or at least fairly absorbent for carseat/church nursery purposes:-)
(Um, but any recommendations you have would be awesome!)

We have only used the cloth waterproof pull-ups for nights. During the day we just used Gerber padded undies with wool.
We have used one step ahead's "dri nights" for night time pull-ups. They are good but puffy. They are great for catching small accidents .
We also have some from Ladder Hill Designs on hyenacart. It is again for night time and is stuffable pocket trainer. She has a lot of variations though including some day versions that you don't have to stuff. They are really well made and work well.
Re: Cloth Pull ups
I think pinstripesandpolkadots.com has some and maybe even an article about it?
