Lovenox/Generic

I posted in the weekly Lovenox check-in asking for ideas about how to get the medicine cheaper.  Our insurance had Lovenox and the generic in tier 4 which meant a monthly payment of $150 for us.  My husband started investigating mail order and other pharmacies and somewhere along the line he found a document from our insurance company listing the generic as a tier 1 drug ($10 a month).  We got his HR dept on the phone and to make a long story short - The generic of Lovenox was recently moved from tier 4 to tier 1 (at least in Anthem's plans). 

So if anyone out there is paying a fortune for Lovenox's generic, you might want to check with your insurance because it might be significantly cheaper now.
