I am so bummed - I just heard back from the nurse that my lining at my mid-cycle u/s was 4.7. She told me that they want it between 7-10.
So any thoughts on if this cycle is a bust - or do I still have a chance? I haven't done much research on lining thickness yet. I had one good follicile on each of my ovaries.
IF totally SUCKS!

Cycle #1: BFP!
That was me this cycle. On CD12 I had lining of 4.1mm lining with my biggest follie around about 16.5 (so, pretty big). They IMMEDIATELY put me on an estrogen patch, you might even want to do 2 patches. I took a baby aspirin (81mg) starting day 12. Took 2 long walks to increase blood flow to my uterus. Drank red raspberry leaf tea 3x a day. I did all that up to my IUI on CD16.
On CD14 my lining went to 5.1mm. I was SO BUMMED. They put me on a SECOND estrogen patch.
On CD15 my lining went to 5.7mm and they triggered me. They said ideally they want between 8 to 12, but they have good success even with something over 6mm.
On CD16 my lining went 7.6mm!!! I think the estrogen patches really made all the difference. I had my IUI on this day.
I did get a bfp this cycle, although there is a strong possibility that it may be a chemical pregnancy bc my beta was at 14 at 16dpiui. Not sure if the lining has something to do with it. Maybe, maybe not.
But I wanted to let you know you can definitely do things to thicken your lining as long as you haven't ovulated yet.

Clomid thinned my lining too. RE put me on estradiol CD8-10 (2 pills a day) and it worked for DD.
We're ttc#2 now and I took the estraiol the same days again and my lining was good at the monitoring us on CD11
Really? How? I got seen by 3 different REs this cycle (in the same office) and one of them said to take it, so I did. I didn't know any better. I'm curious to know more though.

my lining was a 4.5 this cycle - my 4th on Clomid with 1 break in there. Its the lowest i have had. They triggered me on CD 14 with 2 big follies and didnt give me anything to help with the lining. I posted this question on PAIF and a girl on there said she was currently pg with a 4.8 lining and was a 4 something the 1st time she was pg too (but it ended in m/c.)
I am moving on to injects if this cycle doesnt work. Im tired of this and ready to step it up.
