I remember seeing this name on an episode of Make Room for Mulitples on TLC. There were triplets name Jerzee, Journee, and some other terrible J name that I can't remember.

Jayden-boy, Jerzee and Journee were girls. I saw the end of the episode. I never saw the spellings but the names are bad enough!

Uhg. It makes me wonder where/how on earth people come up with names these days. Don't get me wrong, I specifically want to stay away from the typical names plus those on the top 100 lists, but really?
Mama to 5 angel babies, 1 rainbow baby, and 2 more angel babies.
I've only seen it spelled Jerzy - which is a legit Polish name.
This. I agree that the spelling in the OP is bad, and that most people are going to assume(likely correctly) that the child was named after the state of New Jersey...particularly if it's pronounced the same way at the state.
Behindthename says the correct pronunciation is "YE-zhi" and it's the Polish variant of George.

Yikes! Horrid.
I never did get the whole Jersey thing. For real. Where I live, it's a cow breed not a human name.
