Have you ever mailed a wrapped package via USPS?

As in, wrapped it securely with wrapping paper and packing tape, then just slap the label on top?  Or should I put an additional plain layer on top?

  • Plain wrapping on top. I don't think that they would take it the way you described.

  • Ditto the others - either pack it in another box or wrap it in the plain, brown shipping paper.  The USPS will not accept it as you are describing.
