Fantastic way to start my 41st birthday:
Got a call from the RE's office, the results from my HSG were interesting. They told me at the time the right side was fine, and the left looked OK, but a smaller opening. But they didn't even care about that because apparently they are very concerned about some growths in my uterus. Spectacular. Probably just fibroids or polyps, "there's no reason to get yourself worried about anything terrible like cancer," but still not what I want to hear.
My RE was concerned enough that he wants to do the saline ultrasound himself, not just have a tech do it and show him the results. And of course today is cd9 and they have to do it by cd10, and he is booked solid today and tomorrow, so I have to wait until January, so probably at least one lost cycle. The nurse said it was possible to get pregnant with this, but unlikely, and this is likely what cause the chemical pg last month.
So sad. You know, I'm always upbeat about this TTC thing when I'm in the first half of a month or after I know I ovulated and DH and I had good timing. I'm really down in the dumps, though, when I know there's just no chance, like not O-ing or when DH is out of town the whole week of O, which has happened a few times.
Can I start drinking before noon here? It's 1pm on the east coast.

Thanks guys.
Also, part of my post probably wasn't clear. A radiologist did/read my HSG, and now my RE wants to do a saline ultrasound himself to check things out himself for likely surgery, so it's not really a repeat. Normally he might have a tech do the saline u/s, but he wants to do it himself.
