I have been trying to get my DD to use a sippy for a couple months now, and I figured it would just take time. She really likes the idea of a cup, but she doesnt tilt it up enough on her own to get the water out. Has anyone else had this problem? What did you do to help your LO figure it out?
Re: Another sippy question
My little guy did the same thing. He would put it to his mouth but not top it enough and then when we would help him he would just let go and make us hold it for him.
Right around 10-10.5 months he just suddenly got it. I`m not sure if it was too heavy or what but it just clicked one day.

We had the same issue with all of ours, so we got the Playtex straw sippies (@BRU). They got the jist of those really quick and never looked back. We tried our regular sippies a few weeks ago and still nothing. So we just stick with the straw sippies. They are supposed to be better for them anyway.
The Playtex ones have handles, spill prof, and you can squeeze the bottom to make liquid come up if you need to show LO how to do it. I highly recommend these ones.
Good luck.
