Not sure how I feel about this........lol

I hate it when you get up early so you can dig out of the snow and school isn't even open.

Sam's going to be crushed - it was her turn to be "star student" for the week, and today was her day to get in front of the class & present her little project.

    awww poor Sam!  Again I keep saying I'm jealous of you midwestern girls with all that snow.  We still have NOTHING!  I dont want a green christmas Crying

    We are 2hrs delayed so far but we only have a light dusting.  Unfortunately they base the closings/delays on part of the county that is up in the mountains.  If the buses cant get there we are closed/delayed.  Sometimes they will have inches and we wont have anything or just a light dusting.  (like today)

    I REALLY hope the snow holds off until after Wed.  L has his little school Christmas play and he has all of his lines (7 in all) memorized as well as knows when he is supposed to say his lines.  He has worked so hard to learn his part.  I know he will be sad if they miss it.  Plus they have a party sometime this week before school is out on the 18th.

    Sorry Sam doesnt get to be Star Student today and do her presentation.  :(  Snow sucks!  Maybe she will get to do it when they go back.

    Will she get to do it when she returns?  I hope so!

     That is extremely devastating to a child.

    We've got one, too.

    Same thing here-- Saturday was Ms birthday, so it's supposed to be his 'special day' at school when mom stays the whole time, he gets his turn at show & tell, gets to do the weather (hah!) and we bring cupcakes.

    School is canceled in our district today too.  My DH works in their IT department and got the message around 5 this morning.  The weather here isn't bad (sunny and we didn't get tons of snow yesterday), but I think it's more because of the windchill.  Our district also includes "outlying" areas in the country, so they're more likely to cancel because of temps and blowing snow.

    Sorry Sam's missing her project day.

    Some counties south of us closed school. We hardly got anything but I wish we had :)

    Sorry Sam doesn't get to do her project! I hope that they let her do it when she returns to school!
