Just wondering who started and where. I think I may start by putting on the stroller I want through amazon (kolcraft tamdon II) and maybe some gender neutural stuff too. Also if you are a second time mama (or beyond) will you do a regisrty? Is it apporpriate? tia

I started one on Amazon but it's really more of a place for me to book mark things I'm interested in.  No one knows it's there.

I started a registry, but no one knows about it yet. It's mostly for stuff I didnt have w/ LO#1, and later, if we find out we are having a girl, I'll add stuff to it. All we're going to put on the actual registry is the smaller, inexpensive stuff. We figure we can take care of the big stuff ourselves. (We won't need as much this time around, anyways, since we did a lot of gender neutral stuff the first time, and kept a lot of it, just in case.)I've never heard of it being inappropriate to have a registry, regardless of what you put on it, for each baby... but *shrug* I could be wrong? Everyone I know has done it.

Just today, I added some Feeding stuff to it... Like a boppy pillow, because I didnt have one last time, but really wanted one. Stuff like that. But to each their own!

Boppys are AMAZING! I bought one just be for my lo was born, then found one a few months later at a consignment shop for $5! So ofcourse I had to buy it.

I have started two, one at Amazon and one at Giggle. No one knows about either unless they are stalking me on their own :-)

I started this weekend, because it occured to me that my family may pull that there'll be a shower during the holidays since I'll be home. I won't be home again until after baby arrives. My mom is also always buggin me for what to get me at Christmas. So, I thought she could look there too. I did it online and it was nice, because a friend far away went over it with me to see what she thought. She has 4 girls. She knows.

I haven't started an official registry, but I have been saving things to a baby folder I made in my favorite places. I just got the Baby Bargains book a few days ago and this weekend, DH and I started comparing the recommendations in there to the Consumer Reports website we subscribe to and then saving our top choice for reference.

I've started one at BRU and Walmart (we live in a very small town and walmart is all we have.) I've done most of the gender neutral stuff so far. The only people who know about it are immediate family members.
