Middle name for Maximus?

We've decided not to officially settle on the name until the baby is born, but have at least options.  One is Maximus, but we can't think of a good middle name.  Our last name starts w/ 'B', is foreign, hard to spell but not long.  Any suggestions?  thanks!

I think a two syllable name would work best...

Nothing's really jumping out at me though.

We considered Maximus for DS.  His middle name would have been Jack if we'd used that first name.

Alexander, Nicholas, Roman, Ryan, James, Samuel.  I think older more traditional names sound great with it.  I LOVE Maximus btw!  It was on my short list, but DH said no

Good suggestions!  I was thinking of James..  I really like the name 'Alexander James' but Dh won't go for it...  =(

Glad you like Maximus - it seems there are many people who don't, or think it's an intimidating name or something..  He would be called Max..

I love love love Maximus. It is the only name DH and I agree on. I am serious when I say I like the middle name Danger. DH has more sense than I do and does not. The other middle name I like is Elias, our last name is one syllable so I think this works.

DH LOVES Maximus Jude.

If our last name wasn't german we would have used this. (Otherwise he would sound like an SS officer!)
