Hey Ladies! For those who have already had your FIRST child, and you charted and KNEW when you actually ovulated (within a few days and your EDD was based on when you O'd and not on your LMP), when did you deliver? This may have been asked before, but I tried to google the bump and it didn't give me any kick backs for this question. My wonder is, I know they say that the average first birth is 41w 2-3d, but does this take into account that most of the women giving birth have no idea when they actually O'd? I'd just like to see if the number is actually different for those who did chart and know exactly when they O'd. (Just an FYI, I O'd on day 23 of my cycle and I had extremely long cycles prior to getting pg- some up to almost 50 days, so my EDD based off of my LMP would have been really screwed up if I went by that!)
*** Thank you for posting below, it reminded me I wanted to add only if you began to labor naturally, not if you were induced! Please don't clicky if you were induced, just comment on how far along you were when they induced below!
Thanks again!

We only had sex ONCE around ovulation, and exact date of ovulation was also confirmed through the first ultrasound.
DD was born at 40 w 6 d.
I charted w #1 and early ultrasound due to spotting (6w0d) confirmed my date. I had O 10 days before the due date based on when I O'd.
I know when these two were conceived to the HOUR, but with twins have no idea what that will do to my EDD. I'll just be glad to get to 38w.
This. My LMP date would have been later than my dates based on my O day.

This exactly happened to me and one of my girlfriends. Both she and I had gotten BFNs and then had light spotting- even some red, and thought that was a period, but it never turned into a full-blown period so we just counted it as spotting, and both got BFPs within a week after the spotting. We both are moving forward with counting the spotting as that- spotting, and going by the last charted O we saw in my case and in her case her LMP because she didn't chart.
I delivered 6 days before my EDD, which was based upon my O day. I had to show my chart several times since my LMP would have made me due almost 5 weeks earlier! I O'ed on cd53.
I was not induced, although my doctor did stretch my membranes at 38 weeks due to my measuring so big. (She was 8lbs 3oz, but they were estimating she was over 9 on my labor day)
DD2: Lucia (Lucy) 07/13
My due date based on LMP was 9/20, ultrasound gave 9/30, ovulation said 10/9. I went into labor on 10/1.
Wish I could say otherwise but I was induced 2w2d after my due date, which was exactly what it was based on my ovulation. I never went into labor on my own (induced, natural labor for 30+ hours, resulted in c/s)
My EDD based on LMP was July 2nd (making me 3 weeks "late") and my EDD based on O was July 6th (making me about 2 1/2 weeks "late").
Either way I was past 42 weeks when Lily was born on the 23rd.
Edit- I was not induced.
Due date according to O date on chart and confirmed w/ first ultrasound was 10/9. Went into labor naturally on 10/5 at 39w3d.
I'll let you know when I get to that point. I'm pretty curious about that myself.
I had pretty long cycles (I think 40+ days). Fortunately, OB knows better than to use LMP as dogma, so I got a dating u/s at 6/7 weeks Based on measures, their EDD was within a day of my O date and the predicted due date that FF had spit out. Another fortunately, he's not one to readjust due date based on any subsequent measures.
Works for me.
I charted and according to my O date my EDD was January 10. I delivered on January 7.

I didn't get my period between going off the pill and getting pregnant so they could not base my due date on my lmp.
I was charting, but was out of town around O time so I'm not sure of the exact date I O'd, but I know when I had sex. DS was born 6 days after EDD based on the ultrasound. I believe that date was either 1 or 3 days off because of when I had sex. So he would still have been 2-5 days late. I hope that helps some!
Us too but DS was born 10 days before my due date.
