Sex and light spotting

My DH and I finally had sex today (he has been nervous to bother baby/cause miscarriage and I keep telling him it is ok) and when I wiped afterwards, I had very light pink blood.  I started to panic and looked on mayo clinic and some other reputable websites and they say it is ok if that happens.  Anyone else experience a little bit of pink after sex? 

I feel better now that I read online, but still feel scared.  Just as I was really starting to calm down about this pregnancy thing...

Hopefully it has already stopped for you. I had it a few tims post sex. As you probably read, as long as it's light pink or brown and isn't heavy you should be okay.

I would probably be freaked out too but I'm sure it's ok. I often spot after sex (pre-PG.) As long as it stops you should be just fine!!

I had that the other day. It freaked me out at first but then I figured it was probably just some irritation to the cervix or something.  I haven't had anything since that one time I wiped afterwards, so I'm not worried.

Yes. It was very light pink.  And I haven't had anymore since... Man, is this just a whirlwind of emotions!

Scary!  Although, I think you are right in thinking that it was just some irritation.  So glad it stopped right away.
