Baby Names

Lee

Even when I was a child I knew that I would/should use the middle name Lee for future baby.  My great-great grandmother was Emma Lee, great-grandmother, Nora Lee, my grandpa's middle name is Leroy, mom's middle name is Lee, and she passed it on to me.  The name I like for a girl is Jillian.  Does the "li" sound in Jillian sound off with the middle name Lee?  I know middle names are rarely used so it's not that big of a deal, but I do want to keep up the tradition.

Thanks!

Re: Lee

  • It's a little heavy on the "L" but I think it works.  Our last name starts with an S, so Lila Grace S____ is a little awkward, but I love it so we used it anyway.

  • Like a pp said it is a little "L" heavy, but it isn't awful and I think it's nice to honor your family. Also most people will not be using her middle name or even know what it is for that matter.

  • I say go with it because of the meaning.
