Dr wanted to check creatinine (spelling?) levels last Thursday and assumed things would be fine. Nope, Nurse called me at 5:45 that evening saying I must come back in the morning with a bag for the hospital most likely. Dr came in and first thing out of his mouth was "We're getting you delivered" and next thing I know I am beeing wheeled off to the hospital. My BP dropped from the 170s/100s at his office down to 116/64 within hours of being admitted. BP stayed low the whole week I was there. Dr came the next Friday and asked if I wanted to try bed rest at home (at home bed rest from weeks 26-30). Now I have only been home for a few days and my BP is higher again (145/90) and my 24 protein catch showed +4 a few days ago. I go in tomorrow for a ultrasound and to see how I am doing being back home. Any advice to keep my BP down while at home would be appreciated!
Re: Finally home after hosp bed rest for a week
sorry to here that. Once I was diagnosed with pre-e I was admitted for a few days, then able to go home, then would be admitted again, in and out, in and out. It was awful.
I made it 10 days from diagnosis to induction at 35 weeks and couldn't tell you how many days I was actually home.
I hope you can make it further! Hospital bedrest is the worst!!!
