BLECH!!

C has an ingrown toenail! It looked fine during her bath last night. Then about an hour later she pooped so I took her sleeper off  and it was greenish/crusty. I wiped the crusty off and it bled. Today her whole toe looks red. Do you think it is an Urgent Care kind of visit? She has a regular ped appt Monday. She is acting like it is bugging her. Socks are a no no...BLECH!!!WWYD

    Poor thing! If it were my baby I would go to urgent care. The sooner she can get an  antibiotic for it the better. Especially if it's bothering her.

    Were waiting for DH to come home then were off. I felt stupid for asking...

    OK, so after much consideration we took her to Urgent Care. Glad we did! They gave her a topical antibiotic and if that doesnt work theyll give her oral antibiotics Monday. He said shed probably have to have her toes numb and "fixed" because her nail beds are so deep. She gets it from me..:( I had to have actual surgery in 5th grade.

    Anyhoo.....Shell be fine!
