What kind of pain relief is safe?

We are flying over seas for xmas and just in case my back really acts up is it safe to take anything stronger than ibuprofen? I will ask dr just wondering if anyone else has taken anything? thx

    Well, I took Lortab post-partum, if that's what you mean by stronger.
    DS born 8/8/09 and DD born 6/12/12.

    I have taken oxycodone/percocet. I try to take it just after I pump or feed. It isn't ideal but a couple uses isn't going to hurt anything - It's the same thing I got in the hospital while BF my newborn. I'm sorry but Tylenol just doesn't cut it and I feel better taking medication and BF than I do supplementing with formula.
