Got the all clear on starting the BCP today. I have the schedule for the next 2 months of my life. I go on Tuesday for an SHG and trial transfer. Then January 12th, I start lupron. The ER will be Feb. 1st.

But to the part that makes me go HUH? The pharmacy where I am getting all of my IVF meds calls and says, we have your prescriptions here. I said OK. She says when do you start the meds? I say January. She says oh okay. We're still awaiting preauthorizitaions. I say ok. She says so it will be 1,997.63 for the two that aren't covered. I say but you're still awaiting preauth? She says yes. I said well, why don't we wait until you get that. She says oh, so you want to wait? I say yes. Why would I pay two grand when it will be covered eventually? Geesh...

    Good luck! Those pharmacies are crazy, why would they think you would pay instead of just waiting for the insurance.

    Good luck to you with everything! Hopefully your insurance will cover. And Feb. 1st is an excellent date, by the way...it?s my birthday! :-) So hopefully it will bring you good luck!
