If your LO eats solids...

...how often does he/she poop? DS is so constipated now that he's been eating solids for a month. The pedi just says to give him prune juice but it takes a few days of drinking that before he'll poop. When will his system get used to the solids or am I going to have to give him prune juice all the time? I also give him pureed prunes but that doesn't seem to help like the prune juice does.

What did you feed him? DD got constipated on sweet potatoes and pears. But would poop daily when fed peaches and carrots. It all depends what they are eating also. When she gets regular oatmeal i mix it will apple juice to help everything out. When you add a second meal it also will cause some constipation also. GL you just need to find out what works for your LO.

DS is actually more regular than when he was just on BM.  We've only done rice cereal and sweet potatoes though.
