i LOVE carters. i havent had a problem with the fleece one, but the other ones run small for me. the little sets they sell with the long sleeve shirts. the tops seem to run smal for me too.

Now that I think about it yeah they do. DS is still in some 9 mo clothes but has been in 12 mo jammies. But he's tall so he outgrows the length first. Def agree on the Target stuff though. For clothes we go up a size, so my 6 1/2 mo old is getting ready to go into 18mo @ Target.
YES! They are very narrow in the legs as well. DD is in 18 months!!! They are super long on her lol. Ther Gerber ones are actually roomier but we really like the ones from The Children's Place.
For sure! And I have found it's just the footed PJs that run small. DS is in 12 month footed PJs but I bought a 12 month 2 piece set and it's huge! The pants alone almost come up to his armpits. The sizing is so inconsistent!
DD is normally 12 mos. in all Carters clothes, their fleece footed PJs she wears 18 mos. so I think maybe they do run a little small. Same goes for their snap-up one-piece fleece play clothes.
Yes, the Target Carter's run very small. Size 12 months is supposed to fit up to 24.5 lbs, but DD is 21 lbs and busting out of them! I'm so mad, she just started using them four weeks ago and they are already headed for the donation bin!
I can't wait for Xmas to get here because my mom bought her four pairs in 18 months, thinking she might need them by February, but she needs them now!
