replacing aplix with snaps?

I have a stash of grobaby/grovias (a mix of aplix and snaps) that I'm happy enough with, but after only 5 months, the aplix isn't sticking very well. I even found a diaper around my son's ankles in his sleep sack the other night! I have enough money invested in the covers that I don't want to throw them out and start over. What's the best way to have aplix replaced with snaps? TIA for your help!

Also, anyone have any experience with grobaby on a newborn? Just found out we're pregnant with baby #4!

Re: replacing aplix with snaps?

  • I think GroVia themselves will convert them to snaps for you for a few dollars each.  I use them with my 10 week old and have been for a few weeks.  They are a little bulky but she does not leak.  I think in another month or so she will grow into them enough for me to consider them more trim.

  • I think GroVia will do it as well.

There's also a company called Convert My Diapers. No idea of their cost.
