EI provider just called and said the fire department was at DC

I didn't get to my phone in time, but she left a message and said that she couldn't get into the parking lot because there were several fire trucks, police acars nd an ambulance  I ended up calling the daycare because I was a little nervous and I guess they smelled gas so they called the fire department and evacuated the kids to buses in the parking lot across the street.  The director said they should be allowed back in soon.  I feel bad for the teachers and kids because it is in the mid 20's right now and even dressed in their jackets and gloves/hats I'm sure they are still cold.
