itwins = maybe an abbreviation for Irish twins?

I'm guessing itwins = Irish Twins, aka 2 babies born in the same "year" (12-month period) but not actual twins.

I bet it's Irish twins.  My BIL adopted 2 girls who are Irish twins.  He goes ON and ON about how "hard" it is to care for his "twins".
