Cloth Diapering

My dog vs. my first fluffy mail...

I checked my tracking number, and I was so excited when I saw my first cloth diapers were delivered today!  I called my husband and he said when he got home all 12 of my diapers and all 24 of the liners were scattered ALL OVER OUR ACREAGE!!

Luckily, Gus (our German shepherd) didn't do them any real harm...he just shredded every single box/plastic package.  I was so excited to go home and open them...I guess he took care of that for me!  I'm bummed!!!!

  • That's hilarious! Sounds like your dog likes fluffy mail too! Glad he didn't harm them.

  • Good thing nothing was destroyed. My one year old boxer decided to snack on two of DD's wool soakers!! I was so upset. One just had a little rip near the top so I washed it an it's still usable. The other she ate the whole "leg" part off. She's never done anything like that before so it was very strange. We have to hang our wool high up now. Beware of dogs and their love for wool! haha

  • Yikes! I'm glad nothign was damaged! I'd have been really angry at the dog.

Oh and thanks monona for the warning about dogs and wool. I don't have any wool (yet) but we're moving to FIL's guest house in a week and they have 4 big dogs and I was planning to hang the diapers on the line outside... this would include wool if I get some.

Happy to help! We can leave diapers anywhere and she never touches them, but wool hanging over the bassinet makes for a tasty treat? maybe it's just my weird dog.. haha.. but you can never be too careful ;)
