How much is your 5 month old eating per day in solids? I am trying to estimate for my DH how much she would need. I am not having much luck with google. The Gerber website was somewhat helpful, but not for projecting out into the future. TIA!
I make an tbsp of oatmeal + an ice cube of veggies, mix together, and share between both. So each ends up getting about an ounce of food total.
They might eat more, but we just started veggies this week. (They'll be 5 months tomorrow.) I feel like we're all learning to give/recognize "full signs", so I cut them off after an ounce. We'll probably go more soon.

We're just doing cereal so far, but we measure 3 Tbsp (measuring the dry cereal - before adding milk/formula) in the morning and 3 in the evening. If she's still hungry, we make 1-2 more Tbsp.

DS: 10/11/14
DD gets about a tablespoon of rice cereal.
FWIW --acc to Baby411 4-6 month olds can get anywhere from 0-4oz of solids a day.
