We got one at a consignment store. Alexa loved it!! She used it around 6 months old. I like the ones that have the linked toys on the straps. Make sure you have a big doorway and that you watch them at all times.
Alexa is such a little cutie & she definitely loved the jumper!
We don't have an opening as big as yours in our house...I need to read up on those jumpers to make sure my doorways are big enough to keep Adair from bumping into the frame while she jumps!
I wasn't sure about the safety of our house and putting one of the jumpers in, so we got a Jumperoo - similar to this one
I felt the same way (and the doorways are quite narrow in our 1950s house), so we just bought the exact same one....it was $69 on Amazon recently. It's for Christmas so we haven't put it together yet, but I'll let you know how it works out when we do.

I recommend putting it together in whatever room you plan to keep it in, b/c it wouldn't fit through our doorway! (we had to take it apart and put it back together in the living room)

We don't have a doorway one but like pp, we have one that stays on the floor. We have a fairly small place, so we have this one, which we really love and it fits through the doorway with no problems since it's pretty compact.
we never got a jumperoo ...but were given an "jump 'n go" (by evenflo i think) from our last babysitter after her kids outgrew it. i was really worried about using it but DH thought it would be fine and of course i was always right there w/her.
we have really high doorways so i had to actually put a box underneath her so her feet could touch something b/c even at the longest setting we couldn't get her feet to the floor. here's a video of her bouncing
only problem i had w/this was that after she used it she wanted to bounce in her exersaucer too, which isn't made for bouncing! :P
