Switching from Nutramigen to Soy Formula??

At our six months check up today, our pedi switched LO's formula from Nutramigen to soy.  Has anyone else made this transition - if so, how did it go?

Nutramigen is for babies with a milk protein allergy...Soy formula has milk protein in it. If your baby does well with the soy then the allergy has gone away, if not then go right back to nutramigen.
