To ticker or not to ticker?

These are my silly superstitions at play but i have yet to add a ticker to my siggy - I'm 5w2d and i'm convinced that adding the ticker will jinx me in some way, shape or form. I already had a m/c this year and am so worried this little bean is not going to stick (although there are no current signs of any problems - besides the ones in my head ;-). Does anyone else have silly superstitions like this?

No. I don't believe that a ticker would cause me to have a m/c.

After going through the hell of one, I have come to realize that it is completely out of my hands. I am going to celebrate every.single. minute. of being pregnant that I get this time around.

I have avoided putting up a ticker so far because last time it was so sad taking it down I'm planning on putting one in after we are (hopefully!!!) able to see a heartbeat and a normal, healthy baby next Friday.

I had the thought that it would jinx me as well. It's taken so long to get to this point that I think getting excited in any way is going to make things go sour. Now that I have had 2 sets of betas and they are doing well I am a little more laid back. Still nervous for my u/s Monday though.

I put one up for about a minute, and then took it down.  I just put my EDD in my siggy for now, and when I'm feeling more confident, I'll put a ticker up.  I don't think I'll jinx anything, I just wouldn't want to deal with taking it down if I had to.

This. I did wait until my first 2 betas to come back the doc to say I should be out of the woods for another ectopic to do anything or intro on the board though.
