Well even if were not I'm just gonna say I get really irritated when I lurk on other boards and people on other boards have to be such snarky biotchs and I will just stop there because I'm not really into starting drama. Oh I totally agree! The ladies over on the 1st tri board yesterday were effing crazy as heck yesterday on the mexican food post (which i though was funny, not racist). I'm afraid to post anything now because they will jump all over people and be mean/rude, when i thought the point of these boards was for us to support our fellow bumpies

Agreed! I didn't want to post on 12-24 where there are two AE's just think it's fun to cause all kinds of drama; I didn't want to give them any more "air time" than necessary. However, I just don't understand why GROWN A$$ women think it is funny to make up names and go around posting stupid    sh!t. I mean, why, seriously?? 

I hope this doesn't make me sound like a tightass, because I think that's the furthest from the truth, and some drama is fun, but childish, sophomoric humor is just beyond my scope.

Girl i hear you for sure! I posted a few things and ppl were just biotch's about! im like i get it, you havent felt this or done this with your kid, DOESNT MEAN other ppl havent! Some woman think that if they havent felt it or heard about it then it's not true!!!!!UGH! Some ppl these days!!!!!!!

Totally agree!  I love our June board because everyone is nice and supportive.  Though I love lurking other boards because sometimes it's downright hilarious.

i was lurking on 1st tri earlier and there was a huge and i mean ridiculous post over NT scans - it was outrageous but a good read.  And i must admit - one chick was a total be-yatch.

Agreed.  Some of the stuff is just so crazy.  Even when one allows for nuance in writing styles... everyone is different and it does take some risk to start a new thread about something important to you.  Then to have some strangers rip you apart... the name board for example.  If you don't like any of someone's names, maybe just don't say anything. 

Glad to be due in a NICE month...or maybe we are just too early on or too morning sick to spend much time reading and responding???  Glad to be due with you ladies.

I dunno, snark entertains me.  But I classify snark and rudeness as 2 totally different things.  And IMO, it's just the interwebz.  People let strangers get under their skin way too much.  Again, my opinion.

It does entertain me too. I will admit I do let things get to me too easily, but idk the post just rubbed me the wrong way. I just get so irritated when new people join the bump, and have pretty simple questions and get blasted by the same snarky a$$ people over and over.

I have to say that it's so entertaining.  There is one particular poster that is  down right mean to most every girl on the first tri board.

Some of these boards are a hot mess.  Most of my IRL friends are guys just because there is so much less drama than with women. 

It can be good for a laugh though.

That is why I love sticking around in the June boards most of all.  I don't even look at 1st tri anymore.  It can be funny at times, but there are also times when someone really needs to know something and all they got was a page full of bs towards one another.  I got jumped on a while back for saying that I think mom can feel the baby flutter around 13 or so weeks.  Now look at everyone who is farther along saying they feel their LO move.  After that I just stayed off for the most part, but now that I'm not in 1st tri I just stay off it period.

I totally agree!  I read some of the 1st tri posts this morning and it was entertaining, but as sensitive as I've been lately...I'm sooo glad it wasn't me.  What's their deal??  I've tried to figure out what type of person needs to bash someone else for no reason.  But, as mentioned earlier, I'm also thankful to be in a NICE month with you ladies!   I prefer not to be slaughtered.

I've known kdodge for a long time and I'm going to disagree with this.  She is honest and blunt, yes, but that doesn't always equate to being a biitch or being rude.  Some people just don't like to hear the truth.  They have a preset answer in their head and that's the only answer they want to hear.

If inappropriately calling someone a racist is what you consider honest, then I guess you're right. I tend to cringe when I read some of her posts, but mostly I try to avoid them. The post that is being discussed in this thread had NOTHING to do with a question or an answer.
