Aquaphor on baby's face?

I could have swore the pediatrician said we could use Aquaphor on DS's cheeks b/c they are dry from all of his drool. But I looked a the back of the Aqaphor tube and it says if swallowed to call Poison Control. Well what if he touches his face and then chews on his hands? Has anyone used this on LO's face? TIA.

Um, i use baby aquaphor all the time on my daughters face! and have since she was 1wk old! it's perfectly OK..

i've been told by 4doctors its ok to use!

We put Aquaphor on DS's face every night b/c he likes to rub his head on his mattress and it irritates his skin. The Aquaphor helps keep it from getting irritated.

I'm pretty sure the little bit that he could possibly get on his hands and into his mouth is not going to harm him. Besides, you're going to rub it in and not glob it on, right!?!

Yeah we use it. Just a small amount though and we try to rub it in.

Just yesterday our doc suggested we put lotion on DD's face for her dry skin.
