I needed to vent about a comment that my coworker just made. I walked into the staff lounge to get water and she was like "oh, I can tell youre pregnant now". I was like "yeah, I am finally starting to pop". She said, "how many months are you? Six?" and I replied, "no, Im just about 4 1/2" and she said, "wow you are going to be big huh?" I got so annoyed. I said ? ? ? ? "actually, no, Im not that big right now." How rude? Why do people feel the need to say annoying things? I just started to show now and she says Im going to be huge? UGH

Don't let her get to you. Apparently people have no idea how pregnancy works and how it changes your body...I'm sure you look great now that you are showing a little!

I had a douchebag coworker ask if I was having twins when I was pregnant with DS. Then he went on to say that I was getting as big as octomom since that whole thing was going down in the news at the same time. Um, how is that even appropriate?! I feel your pain.

Oh wow, that's rude.  I'm sure you look great.  Esp. b/c you look thin in your wedding pic, I'm sure the belly is pretty obvious at this point--you're almost halfway!  I'm sure it's adorable.  I actually had someone tell me I had a tiny belly the other day, whereas I think I look at least 7 months along this time, I swear.  I pretty much did a double-take, b/c it's so unusual for someone to complement a belly instead of insult it!

My co worker who is way bigger than me pre pregnancy couldn't believe that I was wearing Maternity jeans already.  I said I don't have to wear them, I wear them for the comfort of there being no zipper to dig into my lower abdomen.  They don't even look like Maternity Jeans.  UGH!  Some people!!!

I also had someone ask me if I was sure I am not having twins.....Umm yes, I'm pretty sure my doctor and the 3 u/s techs I've seen so far did not miss another baby (well I know there are some cases on hiding twins but you know what I mean).  Also today I had a coworker poke my belly as she was telling my other coworker to feel it and how hard it is, as she poked it she said "Oh mine was hard as a rock by now, yours is not that hard yet" WTF? I had a flat stomach before getting pregnant (and she didn't) and I can feel that it's hard so I'm not sure what she was getting at here....anyway, annoying!
