So this is kind of a stupid question... but I'm new here and just trying to figure it all out. If I want to post a comment on a thread do I hit reply on the bottom comment? Or does that only reply to that individual comment? I feel like my pregnancy brain is potentially messing with my ability to figure things out... even the really simple ones...

Re: Probably a silly ??
You do hit "Reply" to post a comment. Just an FYI- if you reply to a response in the thread and that poster deletes their response, your response will be deleted. That's one reason deleting posts is frowned upon.
Also, the "Quote" button is super helpful if you do want to reply to a specific response in a thread- that way everyone knows who you're talking to/about.
I know exactly what you mean about pregnancy brain; it can be killer.
You can hit reply on any of them, it'll just put yours at the bottom of the thread. It's a little odd that it makes it look like you're replying to a certain comment.
The only time it matters is if you want to quote someone else's comment in your comment- then you must hit the quote button on their comment.
