 I was PISSED!!!!!! Mainly because their dad is a cop.

Cop or no cop- I still called the damn cops. I live in a very small town where everyone knows everyone and the neighbors came over and were like, there's no doubt it came from our yard, and that they would do whatever it took to make it right.

 People and their bastard ass kids.There is no excuse for an 8yr old kid to accidentally shoot my house. I would have WHOOPED the sh!t out of Lochlan if he had done that. DH is reading me type that and is like, "First off, he wouldn't be playing with a gun anyway."

It wasn't intentional. But none the less it is scary. Freaky things happen, it was just TOO freaky for me. I would be feeling A LOT different, and it would be a totally different situation if I had been home when it had happened, or if my child had been in the house.

i would be 1) pressing charges 2) moving my kid's crib to an interior room of the house 3) possibly moving.

That looks a lot bigger than a .22. A .22 is usually used for target practice and maybe small game like squirrels. If it was in fact a .22, it had to have been shot at very close range...too close to be an accident.
