So we found out we're team Blue! We know that the middle name is going to be Daniel (after my grandfather) and we want a "C" first name to honor his mother.
DH likes the name Connor. I like it too, but my issue is I think it is becoming too popular, and a friend of mine has a 7 month that they named Connor, and I don't want to choose the same name.
I like the name Colby, but my husband's response was "that's a cheese." But he does like the name, he just likes Connor better.
Thoughts?
Re: Connor/Colby
Sorry, my first thought on Colby is cheese as well. Connor is a bit popular for us too
What about Cody, Carter, Creston, Cade, Chase, Camden, Cole or Corbin? Colt is a favorite of ours
Colby is one of my pet-peeve names--I consider it a little dated and I don't think it grows well at all.
Connor is gaining in popularity but it's certainly not the new Aiden. I much prefer it to Colby.
Not a fan of Colby.
Love the suggestion of Corbin - one of my faves.
I prefer Connor over Colby.
Some other "C" name suggestions:
Not a fan of Colby. At all.
Connor is nice though.
I 100% agree with you husband, sorry.
Connor Daniel is great
I'm with your husband. I love Connor, but I don't like Colby at all (and immediately think cheese).
Another "C" name that isn't too popular is Clayton - love it!

Connor (but I'm biased!). We almost went with Connor Daniel, but ended up with Connor Michael instead. I was worried about it's popularity too, but it's only in the 50's... so its not bad.
Colby makes me think of cheese and it's kind of cutesy... bleh.
Other ideas:
Charles, Colin, Christopher, Conall, Calvin, Cameron, Casey, Carson, Curtis
I'll love you forever,
I'll like you for always,
As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.
