What are you putting in your husband's stocking?

Need some new ideas.

TIA!

ETA, if you have specific ideas for this type of guy, that'd be great:

- About to have a newborn

- Has 1st generation ipod nano (already has wristband)

- Hobbies include running, reading and car stuff

- Really likes chocolate and stuff about wars (WWII, Civil War, etc)

- Is huge collegiate football fan

Re: What are you putting in your husband's stocking?

  • It's become a joke that he always gets disposable razors.

I usually put things in there that I would normally buy over the course of the month - I just save them up and put them in his stocking.

He and the kids always get one of those small containers of goldfish - also has kind of become a joke because he tends to eat their goldfish faster than they do.

  • He's getting 3 DVD's that I picked up at Target for $3.99 on Black Friday, they were ones we don't have yet.

    -socks (we always do socks)

    -Lindor Truffles

not sure what else I'll put in there this year.

  • Loading the player...
  • Boxer briefs, peanut M&Ms in the plastic candy cane, movies, not sure what else!

  • My DH usually gets things like gum, listerine strips, disposable lighters, those hand warmer pouches, refill blades for his razor, Snickers and Kit Kats. Nothing fun ;)

For your DH, how about a note with a subscription for Car & Driver magazine. A windshield mount for his ipod, or some kind of cable to hook it up to the car. Candy since he likes chocolate. Ooh, and I've seen pacifiers with college logos on them, you can probably get them on ebay with his fav team.

  • A new stainless steel water bottle, a roll of flame-covered duct tape and some lottery tickets.

  • Boxers, white t-shirts and a keychain bottle opener for my DH. For your DH, I would do a couple books, a stocking hat of his favorite team and maybe some nice new earbuds for his ipod?

  • A window decal for the car of his favorite football team-- DH is getting Miami

    Fererro Rocher chocolates

A couple of flavored coffee thingies from the dollar spot at Target

    Golf tees

A copy of Happy Gilmore (he and his old roommates used to love that movie)

  • I am hoping for Tickets to the Cotton Bowl, sure your hubby would love them too Wink

  • Target has a car care pack for $30 (but I got it for $15 on BF).  Probably only a couple of thing things will fit in his stocking but we usually have stocking overflow on the mantle anyway.  He's also getting candy.

I checked prices this morning and they are going for anywhere from $200-15,000 Surprise. I am honestly not sure if I want DH to drop that much on one game or not the $200 I mean:)
  • I know ;o(  My niece is trying to find me student tickets.  I think he'd be OK with those ($50'ish a pop).
  • Coal and switches. He's been very absent this year.

  • Gift certs to iTunes and Starbucks.

  • sports socks, boxers, candy, cooking utensils (he loves to cook), U of M christmas ornaments.

Ideas for your dh:  a daddy and me type photo frame to add a photo in later, sports/running socks, t-shirt he can workout in, giradelli chocolates, I tunes gift card, magazine subscription (running, sports, etc...), book, college sports ornaments.
