MrsGo4

I was un-buckling my DD from her carseat today, and noticed this.  Any advice?  What do I do?

(and before I get scolded, lol - the strap only looks twisted because I had to turn the clip for the picture, and my DD isn't wearing a jacket - just a fleece top)

Thanks for any advice! (clickable thumbnail)

Re: MrsGo4

  • is that a crack? It's most likely not a huge deal, as the working part of the clip is under the plastic, but call the manufacturer. They'll either replace the seat or send you a new buckle to put on it. :)

  • Yes it is, and perfect - thank you!
  • butting in :)

Is that a Graco seat?  I had the same thing happen with my Graco 32 & I was able to get a new buckle form Graco free of charge :)

  • Haha, it's funny because I just asked Go4 about this one of the recent times that I saw her and made her look at mine because of the cracks.  I noticed it when I brought my car seat in the house to wash the cover.

I haven't called yet because I could see the metal under there... so I figured it wasn't immediately dangerous.  I'm guessing the plastic on the outside is more so that there isn't exposed metal.
