got my maternity jeans :)

Re: got my maternity jeans :)

  • I got some today too, they are heavenly. I can't wait to wear them tomorrow and not feel like a sausage.

  • So far, I love mine! So much that I'm having to stop myself from buying more (already have 3 pairs of jeans, and 4 pairs of other types of pants).

  • I totally cheaped out and bought some at Old Navy after Thanksgiving cause they were so cheap ($15).  The kind I normally buy are Joe's.  I couldn't really justify buying a few pairs at $180 when I know this will be my only pregnancy.  Can't tell you if I like em or not yet, as I am still in my normal jeans, but I am ready for the day I pop.... so excited to get out of the bloated, fat or pregnant stage. I want a belly!
  • Ok, do share... what brands are working for you ladies?  I am (was) a size 6-8, about 5'6" with some hips and thighs but pretty small everywhere else... NONE of the jeans I have found so far have worked!!!  Would love to know what you are finding :)

  • I bought two pairs at kohls that I think are good.  I'm 5'6"-5'7" and they're long enough.  I couldn't pass them up when they were having their black friday sale.  Motherhood Maternity has a line at Kohls called "Oh Baby".  They had some cute things.

  • I got mine out of storage, and am a little sad, they don't really fit! Its like they are too big, and I have to keep yanking them up! I guess I just need to give in and get the in between size of pants, cause I have ones from Old Navy and a pair from Motherhood, that were great the last pregnancy.
  • I have 2 as of now. My favorite is from Kohl's (the Motherhood Maternity brand mentioned above). They fit really well right out of the dryer, but they stretch out throughout the day and get a little saggy on me unfortunately. They are also kind of long (I'm about 5'5" and a half) if I'm wearing flats. I don't want to spend the money to get them hemmed though to wear for 6 months.

I usually fit in Old Navy jeans pretty well, so I bought some maternity jeans there. I don't quite need them yet, but they fit nicely with room for the belly to grow!

And they are pretty cheap.
  • I have this pair (https://oldnavy.gap.com/browse/product.do?cid=5852&vid=1&pid=796588) from Old Navy. They are slightly too big on me, but I figured that once my belly gets bigger, they'll fit better. They are really comfy, though!

  • I just got a pair from Target-Liz Lange maternity jeans.  They are decent, not my favorite jeans I've ever bought, but I am surprised at the lack of selection out there. I checked out the designer jeans at Pea in the Pod and didn't feel that the quality warranted the price tag.

I have had luck with Old Navy, as well. I have a pair of flair jeans and a pair of skinnies (love love love the skinnies with boots). I also just got a pair of bootcut Pea in the Pod jeans from Ebay for $6! It was a risk b/c I didn't know the sizing, but they fit perfectly. I really want to check out Gap Long and Lean also, but I'm not sure I'm willing to spend the money (again, maybe ebay if I can try on in the store first).

  • Bought 2 pairs yesterday from Old Navy. One has a lowrise stretchy waist band & the other has a full coverage panel for the belly(for when I need them).  I am 11 weeks & starting to have a bit of a belly so the low rise ones are good, a little saggy in the thighs & butt but I always have that prob even before getting pregnant.  They were reasonably priced & super comfy.  I don't feel like I have to squeeze into My pants now.  I just can't wait to pop & get out of this bloated, flabby faze

  • I am wearing mine for the first time this pregnancy as well.  I got some Gap Long and Lean on a good sale awhile back.  I ordered them in long as the two pairs I had from my first pregnancy always felt a bit short. These are much better.
